 
DTG 2008 - The 5th Dhaka Int'l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition was held from Jan. 21 to 24, 2008 at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Total 495 exhibitors come from 25 Countries or Regions, the most exhibitors are from P. R. China and up to 64; and the second most exhibitors are from Taiwan and up to 58.
Although the main exhibitors are the manufacturers dealing in knitting, dyeing and printing and garments machines, some leading manufacturers making cotton spinning system and accessories also appeared in this exhibition, i.e. Rieter from Switzerland, Truetzchler and Suessen from Germany, and Lakshmi from India, etc.
The customers visited our CTMTC booth are mainly from spinning mills, in addition, many customers had paid more attention to the chemical fiber and non-woven equipment. By this exhibition, it seems that the cotton spinning industry in Bangladesh is going up smoothly, the dyeing and printing industry is developing rapidly however its base point is low, and the chemical fiber and non-woven industries are still on the stages of beginning and growth, hence the whole market of textile machinery in Bangladesh is full of opportunities. |
