The 18th Saigon Textile and Garment Industry Expo 2008 was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City Int’l Exhibition & Convention Center(HIECC) during April 9 ~ 12. It takes 7 halls, attracted 395 manufacturers and traders coming from 27 countries and territories in the world. It is reported that the exhibition covers an area of 12,000 square meters, increasing to 50% of area compared with the same exhibition last year.

Recent years, Vietnam textile and Garment industry has developed very fast. The export of textiles and garments has reached USD7,800 million in 2007, and it is expected to be USD12,000 million till to 2010. It is said by Mr. Le Quoc, the Chairman of VITAS, that a plenty of all kinds of textile and garment technology and equipment should be imported to bring Vietnam textile and garment industry to the regional and global development level. All of the available space including those in the three temporary halls which were set up to meet the demand of exhibitors were booked out because of the active participation of the exhibitors.

CTMTC together with Jingwei Group, Zhengzhou Group and Beijing Chongli , Hongda Research institute co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition. The net space of our exhibitors group is more than 300 square meter. CTMTC, as a leading supplier of textile machinery in the world, displayed the complete cotton spinning equipment, chemical spinning equipment, dyeing and finishing machinery and non-woven equipment in the exhibition. Hundreds of visitors on CTMTC’s stall witnessed the success of the Chinese textile machinery.
During the show time, a series of deep communication and discussion with the customers have been made, our sales groups also visit some end user’s mills and had commercial and technical discussion with the customers.
As one of the organizer of this exhibiton in China, CTMTC organized more than 20 Chinese exhibitors to participate in the exhibition and received widely praise from many Chinese exhibitors. We would like to do our best to help more and more Chinese enterprises to stride forward to the international market.
