The 5th Center Asia Int'l Textile Machinery Exhibition was held successfully in Republic of Uzbekistan New International Expo Center from September 8th to 10^th, 2009. The exhibition was covering a display area of 100,000 square meters. It’s reported that more than 1000 enterprises from 22 countries and regions participated in the exhibition with the latest products. The exhibition attracted more than 100,000 professional visitors during the exhibition period.

The CAITME and Textile Expo Uzbekistan exhibitions included 176 companies from 17 countries—Austria, Belgium, Belarus, the UK, Germany, India, china, Holland, Poland ,south Korea, Russia, USA, France and Switzerland.

The interest of potential investors in the promising central Asian market can be judged by the exhibitors and the countries they come from. Traditionally, European countries are most well represented, accounting for 45% of exhibitors. The leader amongst European countries, and in terms of the number of companies present at the exhibition, is Germany. German manufacturers have held a central position at CAITME for several years in a row.This year,The exhibitions included 32 German companies,18 Italian,nine Swiss,three French,three Belgian,two Austrian,two Dutch,one British and one Polish.
