CHINA CTEXIC CORPORATION, established in 1984, is one of the earliest large state-owned enterprises engaged in textile foreign trade and economic activities. It was formerly known as the corporation for contracting overseas engineering projects under the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Textile Branch of China Export Corporation for Complete Plants, undertaking foreign aid textile engineering projects designated by the state. As the key enterprise of China Hi-Tech Group Corporation it is under the direct administration of the China central government. In 2017, CTEXIC became a member of SINOMACH (China National Machinery Industry Corporation).

CTEXIC is the world's leading integrated service provider of textile trade, it is also China’s largest exporter&importer of textile machinery and technology. CTEXIC has undertaken over 90 overseas engineering projects with a total of 9 million spindles in cotton spinning capacity in 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. It has accumulated rich experience in international projects contracting, established an advanced managerial system for contracting projects and trained a highly qualified managerial and professional working team. The successful operation of Jableh New Spinning Mill Project of Syria, in particular, has adequately shown the competence of the corporation in international project contracting.
