8~11 November, CTEXIC & CTMTC participated in the 2nd Myanmar Int’l Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (MTG) in Myanmar. The event is jointly-organized by Myanmar Chambers of Commerce & Industry (U.M.F.C.C.I.), Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., and under the support of Myanmar Industries Association and Yangon Region Government.

Myanmar's garment export amounted to about 770 million USD in 2011, approaching the figure of 829 million USD in 2001, the highest annual earning. As Western countries start to ease sanctions, the country is on the threshold of leapfrog development.
